Same event, same session β four different views, depending on how you sign in. Programming and running are separate jobs, so they get separate pages. This demo has no logins, so this page previews the views the real product gives each role.
Signs in with an organizer account. Programs everything ahead of time, one page per job:
Dashboard Sessions Programming Polls Programming Q&A Programming Moderator Console Display & Results Event Settings
An admin's console also carries the poll builder β clearly labeled, like this:
You have admin access, so you can build polls right here. A moderator running this session gets a run-only console β no builder.
The PowerPoint add-in lives inside the presentation. The presenter activates and deactivates polls right from the deck β never leaving their slides. Launching a poll here switches the audience's phones, the room display, and the moderator's page to that poll until it closes.
π PowerPoint add-in Β· General Session
The person running polls can do the same from the admin console β launching is an operator job, not a moderator job.
Signs in with a moderator account, or opens the session's moderator link. Moderators see the polls and the live results and run the question queue β but they never launch or execute polls. Launching belongs to the presenter (from the deck) or the person running polls. When a poll goes live, this page switches to it automatically and stays there until it closes.
π΄ Live now β launched from the presentation. Watching only.
A helper role (the Conference I/O facilitator idea). Facilitators can work the Q&A queue in any session β approve, hide, restore β and nothing else. No polls, no results, no settings.
Joins with the event code or a session QR code. (An organizer can turn on name/email fields β or verified sign-in when attendance has to be proven, like CME credit.)
π΄ LIVE POLL
Which topic should we cover next?
Want to feel the difference? The live demo console opens in Moderator view and has a Moderator / Admin switch at the top β flip it and watch the builder and launch controls appear and disappear. The programming pages are previewed in the logged-in workspace mockup.
